GT1Kit Information
The wheelbase on the real deal is 107.5”.
The wheelbase of the Fiero after you stretch the car 10.5” will be 103.9” which is only 3.6” shorter than the real deal.
The wheelbase factor on the Porsche Carrera GT1 kit is its primary advantage, because you end up with a longer wheelbase car that is very close to the real deal.
The photo of the modified Fiero donor car with the orange front bumper is an example of how you can support the fiberglass replica kit on the donor car by welding tubular steel as the support frames for the kit. This car was used for the Lamborghini Diablo kit.
